What massage therapists do

Massage therapists help people relieve pain and stress using massage techniques. They work with their clients to understand the clients’ medical histories and identify areas of pain and tension. Massage therapists also help their clients with stretching techniques and give advice for at-home care.

At Bright Education Institute, you will be trained on the techniques of massage therapy. You will also learn the theory behind massage therapy to form a solid base of knowledge for your massage therapy practice.

What to expect

Enrollment in the massage therapy program involves just a few steps. Submit your high school diploma or GED, a photo ID, your $150 registration fee, and an enrollment agreement to get started!

The massage therapy program takes 600 hours of instruction. Learn about the history of massage therapy with Florida statutes and rules, basic massage therapy theory and practice, and CPR training.

When you graduate from the massage therapy program at Bright Education Institute, you will qualify to take the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam (MBLEx). The Institute works with all graduates to help them to gain employment in their field upon successful completion of their program.
